The generic Caduet i.e. Amlodipine is a combination medicine of Amlodipine and Atorvastatin. Atorvastatin is a HMG CoA reductase inhibitor, or ‘Statin’, which helps in reducing the levels of bad cholesterol i.e. LDL and triglycerides in the blood, while increasing levels of good cholesterol HDL.
