Tolterodine L-tartrate henceforth referred to as Tolterodine belongs to a class of medications called Antimuscarinics. Detrol i.e. Tolterodine reduces spasms of the bladder muscles. Detrol is used to treat overactive bladder with symptoms of urinary frequency, urgency and incontinence. If you missed the Detrol i.e. Tolterodine medication dose, do take the medicine immediately provided that there is ample of time in between the next dose.
