However the dose should not be more than 200 mg twice a day. Your doctor must determine use and dose for children. brbrPatients taking the prompt-release tablet form of this medicine can take doses at least 4 hours apart to decrease the chance of seizures. Adults may take 100 mg twice a day to stop smoking. Your doctor may increase your dose as needed. However the dose should not be more than 150 mg thrice a day. Your doctor must determine use and dose for children. brbrIf your dose is different do not change it unless your doctor tells you to do so. For patients taking Bupropion for mental depression Usually Bupropion must be taken for several weeks before you feel better. Your doctor should check your progress at regular visits. You will probably need to keep taking Bupropion for at least 6 months to help prevent the return of the depression.

Bupropion should be stored in the container it came in. Make sure that the container remains tightly closed and out of reach of children when not in use.
